Key Job Responsibilities
The General Manager Finance will be responsible for overseeing the financial health and budgetary compliance of the Special Communication Organization. Core duties include:
- Budgetary Formulation: Developing and controlling Non-Development (current expenditure) budgets and maintaining accurate forecasts.
- Fund Management: Ensuring sanctioned budgets are correctly re-allocated across sub-heads as per Ministry of Information Technology guidelines.
- Strategic Advisory: Advising on all matters affecting development and non-development budget allocations.
- Compliance & Scrutiny: Monitoring expenditures, scrutinizing financial cases, and issuing necessary instructions to ensure fiscal discipline.
- Operational Finance: Managing Letters of Credit (LCs) for import contracts and overseeing House Building and conveyance advances.
- Liaison: Coordinating directly with the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecom, Finance Division, and CMA (FWO).
