ISLAMABAD – The Prime Minister’s Office (Internal) has released a new job advertisement inviting applications from eligible Pakistani citizens for various positions ranging from BPS-01 to BPS-15.
The announcement, published by a Major serving as General Staff Officer-2, outlines 14 different posts, including both clerical and technical roles. Positions such as Assistant (BPS-15), Stenotypist (BPS-14), Lower Division Clerk (BPS-11), Cook, Driver, Naib Qasid, Sanitary Worker, and Mali are among those open for recruitment.
Key Requirements and Quotas
The educational qualifications vary by position. While the role of Assistant requires a graduate degree with a 6-week basic IT training course, positions like Naib Qasid and Sanitary Worker require only a primary school pass certificate.
The advertisement specifies regional quotas, with most posts allocated on a merit basis or for candidates from Punjab. Notably, the Driver position includes a local quota for Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) as well as quotas for Sindh (Urban and Rural).
Age Limits and Experience
The minimum age limit for most positions is 18 years, with the upper limit ranging from 25 to 40 years depending on the role. For instance:
· Assistant & LDC: 18-28 years (Assistant) and 18-25 years (LDC)
· Cook: 25-40 years (requiring 8 years of experience in 4/5-star hotels)
· Driver: 18-30 years

- Online Applications Only: All applications must be submitted through the National Job Portal (NJP) within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication.
- Government Servants: Those already in government service must apply “through the proper channel” and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.

- Age Relaxation: General age relaxation will be allowed as per government rules.
