The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, through the Educational Testing Council (ETC), has officially announced multiple contract-based employment opportunities for Pakistani nationals. This recruitment drive is open on a merit basis, offering various positions ranging from managerial roles to technical and support staff.

Important Terms and Conditions

Before applying, candidates should carefully review the following guidelines set by the HEC:

  • Definition of Experience: Only experience gained after acquiring the minimum required educational qualification will be considered. Part-time, honorary, apprentice, or internee experience will not be counted.
  • Age Relaxation: A general age relaxation of five (05) years is already included in the maximum age limits listed above. Further relaxation may be granted according to Government of Pakistan rules.
  • Postings: Selected candidates can be posted anywhere in Pakistan.
  • Test Centers: Examinations will be conducted at the nearest locations to the candidates in major cities, including Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, and Peshawar.

Application Process and Deadline

Interested candidates who meet the criteria are required to apply strictly through the online portal.

Note: There is no need to send hard copies of your C.V. or documents to the HEC head office.

  1. Online Registration: Visit the official HEC careers portal at https://careers.hec.gov.pk.
  2. Application Fee: An application processing fee of Rs. 1,500/- must be deposited via 1Link services using any Mobile Banking App or Mobile Wallet via the link provided on the portal.
  3. Closing Date: The last date for the submission of online applications is June 2, 2026. Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be entertained.
