Job Overview: Forest Guard (BPS-08)
The recruitment is focused on residents of the Upper Dir district (Tehsils: Dir, Barawal, Larjam, and Wari).

Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must meet specific educational, age, and physical requirements:
1. Education & Age
- Qualification: Intermediate (Science) with at least a 2nd Division from a recognized board.
- Age Limit: 18 to 25 years.
2. Physical Standards
- Height: Minimum 5 feet 6 inches.
- Chest: 32–34 inches.
- Running Test: Must cover 3 kilometers in 15 minutes.
- Medical: Must be physically fit and free from any disability.
Important Terms and Conditions
- Domicile: Only candidates with a domicile from Upper Dir (specified tehsils) are eligible.
- Testing: Recruitment will be conducted through the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA).
- Training: Successful candidates must complete mandatory training at the Forest School, Thai, Abbottabad.
- Bond: Selected candidates must sign a bond. If they leave the job within three years, they are liable to refund all training expenses.
- Character: A Police Clearance Certificate is required for successful candidates.
