Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background

  • Candidates must possess an LL.B or be a Bar at Law.
  • A minimum of 16 years of education verified by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) is mandatory.
  • All relevant degrees must be formally attested by the HEC.

Professional Experience & Skills

  • Experience: Preferably 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Key Skills: * Strong understanding of Pakistani laws regarding citizenship, registration, data protection, and privacy.
    • Exceptional skills in legal research, analytical thinking, legal drafting, and opinion writing.
    • Strong command over both written and verbal communication.

Core Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be tasked with critical legal and regulatory operations, including:

  • Supporting the drafting and revision of rules, regulations, and legal frameworks for government approval.
  • Implementing compliance frameworks focused on data protection, privacy, and security regulations.
  • Conducting extensive research and providing legal analysis on national and international laws impacting NADRA’s functions.
  • Monitoring adherence to regulatory requirements and assisting in risk assessments.
  • Collaborating with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to ensure policy alignment.
  • Preparing legal opinions, reports, recommendations, and official documents to assist senior management in decision-making.

Key Terms and Conditions

  • Probationary Period: The selected candidate will undergo an initial 6-month probation period, which is extendable based on performance.
  • Government Employees: Candidates currently working in Government or Semi-Government departments must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.
  • Document Submission: Attested educational documents from the HEC or respective regulatory bodies must be provided at the time of joining. Additionally, Medical Fitness and Character Certificates will be required for the selected candidate.
  • Inclusivity: Females, minorities, transgenders, and differently-abled candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Interview Rules: No TA/DA will be provided for the test/interview. Electronic gadgets, including mobile phones and smartwatches, are strictly prohibited during the assessment.
