District Health Office Kolai Palas Kohistan Announces Vacancies for Vaccinators
The District Health Office (DHO) in Kolai Palas Kohistan has issued a job announcement inviting online applications from suitable candidates for the position of EPI Technician (Vaccinator). The openings are available for residents of District Kolai Palas Kohistan as well as the Hazara Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to an official notification, a total of 10 vacancies have been announced for the post. These positions are being offered on a contract basis for a period of one year under the administrative control of the District Health Office.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in applying must meet the following minimum qualifications:
· Education: At least 2nd Division Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in Science from a recognized board, along with a two-year diploma in the relevant Paramedical Technology from a recognized Medical Faculty.
· Alternative Qualification: FSC in Medical Technology from a recognized board is also accepted.
· Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 32 years of age. Relaxation in age will be admissible as per existing government rules.
Application Process via ETEA
The recruitment process will be conducted through the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA). Interested candidates are required to follow these steps:
- Visit ETEA’s official website at www.etea.edu.pk and create a profile.
- Before applying, candidates must get their CNIC number verified from any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise (Kiosk) by printing an E-Sahulat token from the ETEA website.
- Submit the online application for the post, after which a deposit slip (with token number and project code) will be generated.
- Pay the prescribed, non-refundable test fee via EasyPaisa app/agent or at any UBL Bank branch.
- Keep the original deposit slip with the bank’s stamp for future reference.

Key Terms and Conditions
The health office has outlined several important conditions for applicants:
· Candidates qualifying the ETEA screening test will be shortlisted for interviews. Only shortlisted candidates will receive call letters.
· The competent authority reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel any vacancy without assigning a reason.
· Quotas: 10% of posts are reserved for female candidates, 5% for minorities, and 2% for disabled persons.
· Government or semi-government employees must apply through the proper channel.
· No TA/DA will be admissible for the test or interview.
· Candidates with foreign degrees must provide an equivalence certificate from the HEC.
· Any misinformation or fake documents will result in immediate disqualification, and if discovered after appointment, the order will be canceled automatically.
Candidates are advised not to send documents to the ETEA office at the time of application. Copies of testimonials will only be required from those who qualify for the screening test.
