Job Details & Eligibility Criteria
- Position: Sergeant (BS-07)
- Scale & Allowances: BS-07 + PERA Special Allowance (Note: Special allowance is not admissible during the training period).
- Total Posts: 1,010 Positions
- Age Limit: 18 to 26 years (Strictly no age relaxation allowed, including for existing government servants).
- Domicile: All Punjab (Merit calculated on a District Cadre basis).
- Place of Posting: Anywhere in Punjab (preferably within the concerned District).
- Required Qualification: Intermediate from a recognized Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.
Physical Standards
Applicants must meet strict physical requirements to be eligible for the physical test:
For Male Candidates:
- BMI: 27 or below
- Height: Minimum 173 cm (without shoes)
- Running: 1 mile in a maximum of 07 minutes
- Chest Measurement: 32 inches (Non-Expanded) and 34 inches or above (Expanded). A minimum of 2 inches expansion is mandatory.
For Female Candidates:
- BMI: 27 or below
- Height: Minimum 162 cm (without shoes)
- Running: 1 mile in a maximum of 11 minutes
- Chest Measurement: N/A
Eyesight (Male & Female):
- 6/6 with glasses. Candidates who are color blind are ineligible.

How to Apply
- Registration: Interested candidates holding a domicile in the aforementioned districts must register online via the Punjab Job Portal at https://jobs.punjab.gov.pk/.
- Profile Completion: Provide accurate educational information (Matriculation, Intermediate, etc.). Digital system-based verification will prevent incomplete profiles from proceeding.
- Application Submission: Fill out the application form for the Sergeant position and upload necessary documents, including a Photo (white background, JPEG/PNG format, less than 2MB), CNIC (Front & Back), Domicile, Police Verification Certificate (Optional), and Driving License (Optional).
- Challan Payment: After verification of documents, challans and identification slips for the physical test will be issued. Candidates must pay the challan via PayZen against the PSID mentioned on the challan using any mobile banking app (Payment Option > Payment Service > 1Bill Service > PSID > Payment).
