The Government of Punjab, School Education Department (SED), has officially announced new job vacancies within its newly established Strategic Management Unit (SMU). The unit aims to strengthen institutional capacity for strategic planning, project management, financial management compliance, and digital monitoring systems across the department. Qualified and motivated individuals are invited to apply for the following contract-based positions:

Available Positions and Eligibility Criteria

1. Communication Lead (PPS-10)

• Number of Posts: 1
• Maximum Age Limit: 40 years
• Required Qualification & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Humanities & Social Sciences group, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in digital marketing, media, or corporate communications are preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in communication, media, or public relations.
  • Proven experience in developing communication strategies, managing media relations, corporate branding, social media campaigns, and content creation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, social media platforms, content management systems, and graphic design tools (Canva/Photoshop preferred).

2. Drone Operator (PPS-06)

• Number of Posts: 1
• Maximum Age Limit: 35 years
• Required Qualification & Experience:
  • Diploma or certification in Aviation, Electronics, Photography/Videography, Surveying, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of drone flight operations, navigation, safety procedures, pre-flight checks, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to operate drones under various weather conditions, capture high-quality aerial media, and conduct aerial surveys or mapping.
  • Proficiency in drone control/navigation apps, post-processing software (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro), and GIS software (ArcGIS, Pix4D, Drone Deploy) if used for surveying.
