The Directorate General of Mines & Minerals, Punjab has officially announced job opportunities for eligible candidates under the project titled “CHIEF MINISTER PUNJAB VALUE ADDITION FINANCING FOR PINK SALT.”
Applications are invited from individuals holding a Punjab domicile to fill project staff positions purely on a contractual basis.

Available Vacancies & Eligibility Criteria
1. Business Development Officer (PPS-07)
- No. of Posts: 01
- Age Limit: Up to 45 Years
- Qualification & Experience Required:
- 16 years of education in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Public Administration, Industrial Engineering & Management, or an equivalent degree from an HEC-recognized university/institution.
- At least 02 years of post-qualification experience in business development and support services within reputable public, private, government, or semi-government organizations.
2. Application Scrutiny Officer / IT Support Officer (PPS-05)
- No. of Posts: 02
- Age Limit: Up to 35 Years
- Qualification & Experience Required:
- 14 years of education in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Math, Computer Science, or an equivalent degree from an HEC-recognized university.
- A minimum of 03 years of post-qualification experience working in any public or private sector entity.
Age Relaxation
General age relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per Govt. of Punjab rules (S&GAD Notification No. SORI(S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 08-08-2016):
- Male Candidates: +5 Years
- Female Candidates: +8 Years
Important Terms & Conditions
- Contractual Basis: Appointments will be strictly on a contract basis for the duration of the project with no right to permanent appointment.
- Domicile Restriction: Only candidates with a valid Punjab domicile are eligible to apply.
- In-Service Candidates: Government or semi-government employees must apply through the proper channel along with a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- Multiple Posts: Candidates wishing to apply for more than one position must submit separate application packages for each post.
- Interview Requirements: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview, and they must bring original documents along with copies of submitted documents.
- TA/DA: No Travelling Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be provided for tests or interviews.
