According to the official advertisement, the bank is looking for a talented, dedicated, and experienced professional to fill the following executive role:

Position Overview

• Job Title: Wing Head – Digital Proximity Acquiring (VP / SVP)
• Reporting To: Divisional Head – Digital Wallet, Acquiring and Government Business
• Location: Karachi
• Employment Type: Contractual basis for three (03) years, renewable at the discretion of the Management.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational & Professional Qualifications

• Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
• Preference will be given to candidates holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a relevant field.

2. Experience Requirements

• A minimum of 08 years of experience in Banking, Information Technology, E-commerce, and/or Fintech.
• Out of the total experience, at least 01 year must be in a leading/managing role within Merchant Acquiring, POS, QR Business, Raast P2M Acquiring, and/or Payment Acceptance products and solutions.

3. Key Skills & Expertise

Candidates are expected to possess a deep understanding of the merchant acquiring landscape, alongside:

• Strategic leadership and vision for proximity payment solutions (e.g., Raast P2M infrastructure).
• Risk management, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Strong stakeholder management, cross-functional leadership, and executive communication skills.

Outline of Main Duties & Responsibilities

The selected Wing Head will manage a comprehensive portfolio divided into several core pillars:

• Strategic Leadership & Vision: Defining the long-term roadmap for digital proximity acquiring, driving digital transformation, and leading strategies for merchant acquiring through QR codes, NFC, POS, and Raast P2M.
• Business Development & Merchant Strategy: Developing merchant onboarding strategies tailored to SMEs, retail, corporate, and high-volume merchants, alongside managing revenue growth objectives.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensuring strict adherence to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations, PCI-DSS, security standards, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) requirements.
• Team Leadership & Operations: Supervising Unit Heads, setting performance targets/KPIs, mentoring senior team members, and collaborating cross-functionally with IT, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Marketing teams.
