PPHI Balochistan Announces Over 1,700 Healthcare Job Openings Across the Province

The People’s Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI) Balochistan has officially announced a massive recruitment drive, offering over 1,700 job vacancies across various Basic Health Units (BHUs) in the province. These positions are being filled on a purely temporary basis for an initial period of one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Available Positions and Eligibility Criteria

PPHI-B is looking to hire a diverse range of healthcare and support staff. The breakdown of available posts and their minimum requirements includes:

• Medical Doctor (MO/LMO) – 157 Posts
  • Requirement: MBBS degree with a valid PMDC/PMC registration certificate.
• Medical Technician / Dispenser – 157 Posts
  • Requirement: Verified Medical Technician or Dispenser Diploma from a reputed/registered institute.
• Lady Health Visitor (LHV) / Community Midwife – 471 Posts
  • Requirement: Verified 2-year LHV or 2-year Community Midwife Diploma from a recognized institute.
• Lab Technician – 157 Posts
  • Requirement: Matriculation along with a Diploma from the Provincial Medical Faculty (or equivalent). Relevant field experience will be prioritized.
• Vaccinator – 157 Posts
  • Requirement: Matric in Science with at least 3 months of specific vaccination experience.
• Dai – 314 Posts
  • Requirement: Minimum Primary education (literacy preferred) alongside a 1-year Dai training certificate from any DHQ, THQ, or provincial MNCH director.
• Watchman Cum Cleaner – 314 Posts
  • Requirement: Must be physically fit and a permanent resident of the same Union Council where the BHU is located.

Key Terms and Conditions

Before applying, candidates should note the following core requirements set by PPHI-B:

• Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 50 years of age.
• Domicile Preference: Candidates holding a local domicile of Balochistan will be given preference. Furthermore, preference will be heavily skewed toward local residents residing near the respective BHUs.
• Test/Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the written test and interview phase. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the test.
