National Education Development Commission (NEDC) Announces 91 Elementary School Teacher Vacancies
The National Education Development Commission (NEDC) has officially released a “Situations Vacant” advertisement (No.F.2 (2026)(Rec/EST)NEDC) inviting applications for the positions of Elementary School Teachers (EST). These positions are available on a regular basis in educational institutions across the urban and rural areas of the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
A total of 91 vacancies have been announced, broken down by gender, subject, and regional quotas.

Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Second Class / Grade “C” (4 Years) Bachelor Degree or its equivalent qualification in the relevant subject from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
- Age Limit: 18 to 25 years, plus a general relaxation of five (5) years in the upper age limit.
Registration and Selection Process
How to Apply:
- Online Application: Interested candidates must apply online. Hard copies of the application will not be accepted.
- Official Portal: Registration must be completed via the official portal: www.eteapunjab.com.
- Application Fee: Candidates are required to deposit a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500/-.
- Last Date: The deadline for online registration is July 17, 2026.
Selection Method:
- Test Information: Details regarding the date and venue of the test will be communicated electronically only to the candidate via SMS or Email.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview via official letters, emails, and notifications on the website. Candidates will need to bring original documents alongside an attested copy of each.
