The Gilgit Baltistan Scouts has officially announced a new recruitment drive for male candidates to fill various positions in its 18th Batch (Addl). Interested and eligible candidates are invited to report at designated centers starting early July 2026.

The recruitment covers a diverse range of roles, primarily under the BPS-5 and BPS-7 scales. The general age limit across all categories is 18 to 25 years (calculated as of August 15, 2026). Age relaxation is applicable up to 5 years under Government of Pakistan laws, and relaxation in qualification/age is also available for sports and special trades.

Registration and Test Schedule
Candidates must report to their respective centers at 07:00 AM on the specified dates. Registration takes place from 0700 to 1000 hours, followed by tests conducted from 1000 to 1600 hours.

Selection Process and Mandatory Documents
Test Components:
The selection process will thoroughly evaluate candidates through:
- Written Examination
- Medical Examination
- Practical Test (for relevant trades)
- Interview
- Physical Test (includes a 2-Kilometer Run and Pull-ups)
Required Documents to Bring:
Candidates must bring their original documents along with four attested passport-size photographs:
- Educational Certificates/Degrees
- Domicile/Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC)
- National Identity Card (CNIC) or Form-B
- Experience Certificates (if applicable)
- Children of martyrs, retired, or serving personnel must bring the discharge certificate/pension book of their father to claim relevant quotas.
Terms, Conditions, and Important Instructions
- No Objection Certificate (NOC): Government employees serving in other departments must bring an official NOC from the head of their department.
- Single Application: A candidate is permitted to apply for only one position.
- Electronic Devices: Mobile phones and any other electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the test and interview centers.
- Logistics: No parking facilities are available at the testing sites; candidates are advised not to bring motorcycles or vehicles. Furthermore, no TA/DA (travel allowance) will be provided for attending the tests.
- Finality: The decision of the selection board will be final and cannot be challenged at any level. No trade changes will be entertained after final selection.
