Punjab Livestock Department Announces Project-Based Recruitment for FMD Control Initiative
The Livestock & Dairy Development Department, Government of Punjab, has announced multiple vacancies for the Annual Development Project titled “CM Punjab: Progressive Control of Foot and Mouth Disease in Punjab.” The department seeks qualified, experienced, and domiciled candidates from Punjab to fill positions on a purely contract basis.
The project aims to curb Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) – a highly contagious viral infection affecting livestock – thereby safeguarding Punjab’s dairy and meat production. Applications are invited for the following posts:

Database Administrator PPS-08 2 BS in Computer Science / Data Science / Statistics (HEC recognized) 2 years relevant; skilled in Excel, R, SPSS, Python 25–40 years
GIS Analyst PPS-08 1 BE in Geo-Informatics / BS in Remote Sensing & GIS 2 years relevant; expert in ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth Pro, R 25–40 years
Driver PPS-02 7 Literate 5 years verifiable experience; valid LTV license 25–40 years
Key Conditions & Requirements
· Appointments are purely contractual for two years (extendable or until project completion, whichever is earlier).
· Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
· Government employees must apply through proper channel with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department.
· Original documents must be produced at the time of interview.
· The department reserves the right to cancel the advertisement or hiring process at any stage without providing any reason.
· No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
