The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), the apex regulator of the country’s capital markets and corporate sector, has announced new career opportunities for dynamic, result-oriented professionals. The Commission is currently seeking applications for Islamabad-based positions from qualified individuals possessing impeccable integrity and strong analytical capabilities.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Qualification
Candidates must hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to 16 years of education). Additionally, professional membership in recognized actuarial bodies is mandatory. Candidates must be an:
- Associate Member of the Casualty Actuarial Society, OR
- Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK), OR
- Society of Actuaries (USA), OR
- Associate Member of a member institute of the International Actuarial Association.
2. Post-Qualification Experience
- A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in actuarial work.
- Experience should be with an actuarial firm, the actuarial department of an insurer, or any other relevant organization.
- Must include at least three (3) years of post-actuarial certification experience.
3. Age Limit
- The maximum age of the applicant should not exceed 45 years as of the closing date for the submission of applications.
Nature & Duration of Employment
- Initial Contract: Appointments will be made on a contractual basis for a term of three (3) years, which is extendable based on organizational needs and performance.
- Regularization: The Commission may consider the regularization of these positions after the successful completion of the three-year contract, subject to fulfilling the prescribed criteria.
