Prime Minister’s Office Announces Multiple Job Vacancies

The Prime Minister’s Office (Internal) in Islamabad has released a new recruitment advertisement, inviting applications from Pakistani nationals for various positions ranging from BPS-01 to BPS-15.

According to the official vacancy notice, the available posts include both clerical and technical roles. The highest-paid position among them is for Assistant (BPS-15) , for which two vacancies have been announced. Candidates holding a Graduate degree along with a six-week Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) conducted by NITB are eligible. The age limit for this role is 18 to 28 years.

The office is also looking for two Stenotypists (BPS-14) . Applicants must have passed Intermediate, possess a minimum typing speed of 80 words per minute in shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in typing, and be computer literate. The age bracket for this position is 18 to 25 years.

In addition to desk jobs, the Prime Minister’s Office requires cooks and technical staff. A notable vacancy includes three positions for Cook (BPS-14) , requiring a Primary Pass certificate along with eight years of cooking experience in four or five-star hotels. Candidates for this role can be up to 40 years old.

Other vacancies include:

· Lower Division Clerk (BPS-11) : Matric with 30 w.p.m. typing speed and an IT course.
· Auto Electrician (BPS-10) : Matric, a one-year diploma, and three years of experience.
· Telephone Operator (BPS-09) : Intermediate with two years of relevant experience.
· Junior Technician (Dispenser) & Junior Technician (Vaccinator) (BPS-09) : Matric with a dispenser course or six years of experience, or retired NCOs from the AMC.
· Driver (BPS-04) : Primary Pass with a valid driving license.
· Female Nursing Attendant, Naib Qasid, Khalasi, Mali, and Sanitary Worker (BPS-01 to BPS-02) : Primary Pass required.

Most positions have an age limit of 18 to 25 years, with relaxations applicable under government rules. Quotas are allocated primarily to Punjab and Merit, with some positions reserved for Sindh (Urban) and local residents of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).

Important Instructions for Applicants:

· Submission: All applications must be submitted through the National Job Portal (NJP) within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication.
· Government Servants: Those already in government service must apply through the proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.
· Documents: Candidates should bring original documents to the interview.
· Travel: No TA/DA will be provided for tests or interviews.

Only short-listed candidates will be called for the test or interview. The advertisement has been authorized by Major General Staff Officer-2, Muhammad Tehseen Shahpal.
