SECP Announces Career Opportunities for Multiple Positions in Supervision Division
Islamabad, Pakistan – The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), the apex regulator of the country’s capital markets and corporate sector, has announced multiple career openings for qualified professionals in its Supervision Division. The positions are based in Islamabad and are being offered on a regular basis.
The SECP is seeking result-oriented, dynamic individuals with strong analytical capabilities and professional integrity. The available positions include two categories of Deputy Director and two categories of Assistant Director.
Deputy Director – Category A (02 Positions): Candidates with CA, ACCA, or ACMA qualifications are eligible. Applicants must have a minimum of six years of relevant post-qualification experience. For qualified Chartered Accountants, articleship will be considered part of the required experience. The maximum age limit is 40 years as of the application closing date, with a five-year relaxation for those having at least three years of experience with a regulator.
Deputy Director – Category B (01 Position): This position requires an LL.B. or LL.M. degree from an HEC-recognized university or institution. Candidates must have at least six years of relevant post-qualification experience. The same age limit and relaxation policy apply as in Category A.
Assistant Director – Category C (02 Positions): Eligible qualifications include an MBA, BBA (Hons.) with 16 years of education in Accounting, Finance, or related fields, or CA/ACCA/ACMA. A minimum of three years of relevant post-qualification experience is required. For Chartered Accountants, articleship will count toward experience. The maximum age is 35 years, with a five-year relaxation for those with three years of regulatory experience.
Assistant Director – Category D (01 Position): Candidates must hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science/Analytics, AI, Machine Learning, or a related discipline. Additional certifications in data analysis or data science will be an advantage. Applicants need at least three years of relevant post-qualification experience, and the same age criteria apply as in Category C.
