GC University Faisalabad Announces Multiple Non-Teaching Vacancies at Sub-Campuses

Government College University (GCU) Faisalabad has released a recruitment notification for various non-teaching positions at its Sub-Campuses in Chiniot and Hafizabad. The university invites applications from eligible Pakistani nationals for posts ranging from BPS-17 to BPS-01.

The vacancies are temporary but have the potential to become permanent. Selected candidates will receive the standard pay scale along with applicable allowances.

Available Positions

At the Sub-Campus Chiniot:

· Assistant Registrar (BPS-17): 1 position for candidates aged 24-35 with an MA/MSc. Preference will be given to those with computer programming experience.
· Junior Clerk (BPS-11): 3 positions for ages 18-25. Requires Higher Secondary School (2nd division), English typing speed of 35 w.p.m., and word processing knowledge.
· Security Guard (BPS-09): 5 male positions for ages 20-35. Preference for ex-servicemen, or otherwise matriculate (2nd division) with specific height (5’8″) and chest (32″-34″) requirements.
· Dispatcher Rider/Dispatcher (BPS-05): 2 positions for ages 18-25. Requires Secondary School examination and a valid motorcycle driving license.
· Laboratory Attendant (BPS-05): 1 position for ages 18-25. Requires Matric with Science.
· Mali/Baildar (BPS-01): 4 positions for literate individuals aged 18-25. Experience preferred.
· Naib Qasid (BPS-01): 5 positions for literate individuals aged 18-25.
· Sanitary Worker (BPS-01): Position available for literate individuals aged 18-25.

At the Sub-Campus Hafizabad:

· Security Guard (BPS-09): 4 male positions for ages 20-35. Similar requirements as Chiniot but with height of 5’9″.
· Junior Clerk (BPS-11): 1 female position for ages 18-25 with same educational and typing requirements.
· Dispatcher Rider/Dispatcher (BPS-05): 1 position (ages 18-25) requiring Secondary School and a valid motorcycle license.
· Mali/Baildar (BPS-01): 4 positions for literate individuals aged 18-25.
· Naib Qasid (BPS-01): 2 positions for literate individuals aged 18-25.
· Sanitary Worker (BPS-01): Position available for literate individuals aged 18-25.

Application Process & Key Instructions

Candidates can download the prescribed Application & Biodata Form from the university’s website (http://www.gcu.edu.pk). Completed applications must be submitted along with an original Demand Draft (non-refundable) in favor of the Treasurer, GCU Faisalabad. The application fee is Rs. 2,000 for BPS-17, Rs. 1,000 for BPS-06 to 16, and Rs. 500 for BPS-01 to 05. Persons with disabilities are exempt from the demand draft fee.

Each application must include three sets of the form, supported by attested copies of educational documents, CNIC, three photographs, and an updated CV. Candidates applying for multiple posts must submit separate applications.

The deadline for submitting applications is June 15, 2026. Applications for the Assistant Registrar (BPS-17) position should be sent to the Recruitment Cell, Main Campus, while all other applications should go to the Personnel Branch, Main Campus, Registrar Office, GCU Faisalabad.

Important Conditions for Applicants

· Quotas: A 3% quota is reserved for persons with disabilities (certificate required), and a 5% quota for minorities. Candidates must clearly mention their quota status.
· Service Commitment: Candidates selected for any sub-campus must serve there for at least five years and provide an affidavit agreeing not to request a transfer during this period.
· Age Relaxation: May be granted as per university policy.
· In-Service Candidates: Must apply through the proper channel.
· HEC Equivalence: Required where applicable, or applications will be rejected.
· No TA/DA will be provided for interviews.

The university reserves the right to withdraw any post or withhold appointments without assigning a reason. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
