Pakistan Railways Seeks Experienced Professional for Top-Level Business Planning Role
The Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) has announced a major job opportunity for seasoned professionals, inviting applications for the position of Adviser/Executive Director (Business Planning) at the MP-I scale. The appointment, based in the Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office in Lahore, marks a key step in the organization’s ongoing transformation drive.
Position Highlights
The selected candidate will serve on a contract basis for an initial period of three years, with the possibility of extension for up to two additional years on an annual basis, subject to satisfactory performance. The maximum age limit for applicants is 62 years, and the place of posting—while preferably Islamabad—may be anywhere in Pakistan.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet rigorous educational and experience standards:
· Ph.D. in a relevant subject from an HEC-recognized university, accompanied by 7 years of professional experience in the relevant field; OR
· Master’s degree (MBA, CA, M.Com, or equivalent) from an HEC-recognized university, with 9 years of relevant experience.
