UVAS Lahore Announces Contract-Based Positions for Pattoki Campus Project

The University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (UVAS) has invited applications from Pakistani Nationals holding a Punjab domicile for multiple vacant positions in its project titled “UVAS Campus, Pattoki (Provision of Academic Block and Allied Facilities).”

The university has announced that these appointments will be made on a purely contract basis for an initial period of six months, with the possibility of extension based on performance until the project’s completion. Officials have clarified that these roles have no likelihood of becoming permanent after the project ends.

Available Positions and Salary

The project requires staff for four distinct roles, with salaries listed under the university’s PPS scale:

1. Project Coordinator (PPS-08): One position available. Salary is Rs. 218,750/- with an annual increment of Rs. 10,940.
2. Assistant Project Manager (Finance & Procurement) (PPS-07): One position available. Salary is Rs. 157,500/- with an annual increment of Rs. 7,875.
3. Junior Clerk (PPS-04): One position available. Salary is Rs. 52,500/- with an annual increment of Rs. 2,625.
4. Naib Qasid (PPS-02): One position available. Salary is Rs. 37,000/- with an annual increment of Rs. 1,850.

Key Conditions for Applicants

· Domicile & Marital Status: Only Pakistani Nationals with a Punjab domicile are eligible. Candidates must not be married to a foreign national.
· Age Limit: For the Junior Clerk and Naib Qasid positions (Sr. No. 03 & 04), the age should be between 18 and 30 years. Age relaxation will be granted according to the Government of Punjab’s policy.
· Disability Quota: Disabled candidates are exempt from the application processing fee but must attach a disability certificate with their application.

Application Process and Deadline

UVAS has mandated a strict two-step online application process:

1. Online Application: Applicants must apply online through the University job portal at www.uvas.edu.pk/jobs. No editing will be allowed after submission, so candidates are advised to fill out the form carefully.
2. Hardcopy Submission: After applying online, candidates must submit a signed hardcopy (printout) of the same pre-filled online application form, along with attested copies of testimonials, certificates, and one recent attested passport-size photograph.

The application fee must be deposited via an online-generated Bank Challan at any Bank Alfalah Ltd. branch in Pakistan. The non-refundable fee is Rs. 2,000 for the Project Coordinator and Assistant Project Manager posts, and Rs. 500 for the Junior Clerk and Naib Qasid posts.

Important Dates:

· Last date for online applications: June 25, 2026 (Thursday), within office hours.
· Deadline to receive hard copies via Dak/Courier: June 29, 2026 (Monday), within office hours.
