Career Opportunity: Nuclear Power Plant Training for Diploma Holders & Science Graduates (Session 2027)
A progressive public sector organization in Pakistan has announced career-boosting training opportunities for Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) holders and Science Graduates.
The Post Diploma Training Program (PDTP) in Nuclear Power Plant Technology is a one-year (three-semester) program starting in July 2027. The training will be conducted simultaneously at two premier institutes:
- KINPOE (Karachi Institute of Power Engineering), Karachi
- CHASCENT (Chashma Centre of Nuclear Training), Mianwali
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must be Pakistan/AJK Nationals and meet the following academic and age requirements:
1. Academic Qualifications
Applicants must fall into one of the following two categories:
- Three-year DAE (First Division, minimum 60% marks in SSC and DAE):Eligible technologies include:
- Chemical
- Electrical
- Electronics
- Mechanical
- Civil
- Computer
- HVAC
- Metallurgy
- Instrumentation & Control(Candidates with diplomas in other fields must attach an Equivalence Certificate from their respective Board of Technical Education).
- Two-year B.Sc. / Associate Degree in Science (ADS):Must have Physics or Chemistry with Mathematics as a compulsory subject from an HEC-recognized university. A First Division (at least 60% marks) is required in SSC, HSC (Pre-Engineering only), and B.Sc.
Note on Pending Results: Candidates awaiting their final year results who expect a First Division may also apply. However, they must complete all diploma/degree requirements by January 1, 2027 to be allowed to join.
2. Age Limit
- Maximum 25 years as of August 11, 2026 (Date of birth must be on or after August 11, 2001).
Financial Support & Facilities During Training
Selected trainees will receive excellent support during their one-year training period:
- Stipend: Rs. 31,320 per month.
- Accommodation: Free bachelor hostel accommodation for outstation trainees (subject to availability).
- Medical & Transport: Free outpatient treatment and transport facility to trainees.
Career Prospects After Completion
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees may be appointed anywhere in Pakistan as Tech-I / SA-I in SPS-4 (Pay Scale: Rs. 31,320 – 1,930 – 89,220). This comes with:
- An advance increment.
- Admissible allowances on a regular basis under the CPF Scheme.

Step 1: Pay the Application Processing Fee
The fee varies based on the application method:
- Online Application Fee: Rs. 1,000/-
- By Post Application Fee: Rs. 1,300/- (Forms downloaded to apply by post must confirm their status on the website in late August 2026).

Step 2: Submit Your Application
- Online Applicants: Apply via www.kinpoe.edu.pk. Upload your paid online bank receipt and a passport-size photograph. Additionally, you must send the printed application form along with the original paid bank receipt via urgent courier service to the KINPOE address.
- Postal Applicants: Download the Application Form and Admit Card from the KINPOE website. Send the completed form and original paid bank receipt via urgent courier.
