KP Forest Department Announces Forest Guard Jobs in Chitral Division (BPS-08)
The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Forestry, Environment, and Wildlife Department has officially announced new job opportunities for the position of Forest Guard (BPS-08) within the Chitral Division. This recruitment drive is being conducted under the provincial government’s hiring policy, and eligible candidates from the region are invited to submit their applications online.

1. Educational Qualifications
- Minimum Qualification: Intermediate (F.Sc. / F.A. / ICS / I.Com) or equivalent qualification from a recognized board, with a preference for a science background (Intermediate Science Second Division).
2. Physical Standards (Mandatory)
Because of the demanding nature of field duty in the Forest Department, applicants must fulfill the following physical benchmarks:
- Height: Minimum 5 feet 6 inches ($5’6″$)
- Chest Measurement: Minimum 32 inches un-expanded to 34 inches expanded ($32″ \times 34″$)
- Physical Endurance Endurance Test: Candidates must complete a 3-kilometer run within 15 minutes.
- Fitness: The candidate must be free from any physical disability or medical condition that hinders outdoor field duties.
3. Age Limit
- Age Range: 18 to 25 years old. (Upper age limit relaxations will apply strictly as per current KP government rules).
Terms, Conditions & Important Rules
- ETEA Testing: The screening and testing process will be managed entirely by the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA).
- Verification: Profiles must be verified through the NADRA E-Sahulat system before submitting the ETEA online application. Applications without E-Sahulat verification will be rejected.
- Document Authenticity: Candidates selected for interviews must present their original educational documents and certificates. Any forged or fake degrees will lead to immediate disqualification and legal action.
- Training Requirement: Successfully selected Forest Guards will undergo a mandatory one-year professional training course at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Forest School in Abbottabad.
- Post-Selection Requirements: Candidates who qualify will be required to submit a Police Clearance Certificate and a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by the Medical Superintendent of DHQ Hospital Chitral.

- Fee Payment: Deposit the prescribed processing fee at any branch of UBL Bank or via EasyPaisa using the generated slip. Keep the candidate copy of the deposit slip safe.
- No Hard Copies Needed: Do not mail physical documents or deposit slips to the ETEA office during the initial application phase.
- Test Roll Number Slips: Roll number slips specifying the test date, time, and venue will be available for download on the ETEA website. Candidates will also be notified via SMS.
