Job Announcement: Gujrat Canal Division Recruitment 2026-27
The Executive Engineer of the Gujrat Canal Division, Gujrat, has officially invited applications from eligible candidates to fill temporary vacancies for unskilled laborers (Mazdoor / Baildar) for the year 2026-27. These positions are primarily required for the maintenance and smooth operation of the canal irrigation system, specifically during critical periods like the flood season, de-siltation drives, and rotational water supplies (bhal safai and halat-e-tai’un).
Position Details
- Post Name: Unskilled Laborer / Baildar (مزدور غیر ہنرمند / بیلدار)
- Total Vacancies: As per requirement (Hasb-e-Zaroorat)
- Salary/Wages: In accordance with the approved schedule rates of the Government of Punjab.
- Eligibility: Recruitment will strictly follow the prevailing government recruitment policy.
Terms and Conditions
Applicants must fulfill the following criteria and agree.
- Domicile: Candidates must be residents of Punjab. However, preference will be given to individuals residing within the territorial jurisdiction of the Gujrat District (Gujrat Canal Division).
- Purely Temporary Nature: These positions are 100% temporary and contract-based for the year 2026-27. Selected candidates cannot claim permanent employment or approach any court of law or forum for regularizations.
- Termination: Employees can be dismissed or terminated from service at any time without any prior notice.
- No TA/DA: No traveling allowance or daily allowance will be provided to candidates appearing for the interview or test.
- Fresh Applications Only: Any old or previously submitted applications will not be considered.
