Vacancy Details
The department is hiring for two primary technical positions on a regular/contract basis:
1. Bomb Disposal Commander (BS-15)
- Total Posts: 03
- Age Limit: 21 to 45 years
- Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Must be a retired Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) or equivalent from the Armed Forces (or hold an equivalent qualification).
- Must have successfully completed a Bomb Disposal course from a recognized institution.
- At least 1 year of practical field experience in the relevant field.
- Alternative: Retired non-commissioned officers from the Armed Forces who have completed specialized technical courses (such as PAF-105/Engineering courses) with relevant field experience are also eligible to apply.
2. Bomb Disposal Technician (BS-12)
- Total Posts: 30
- Age Limit: 21 to 45 years
- Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Must be a retired Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) or equivalent from the Armed Forces.
- Must have a certified qualification/course in Bomb Disposal from a recognized training center.
- Minimum of 1 year of practical experience in handling explosive materials/devices.
- Alternative: Equivalent technical training courses from the military (Engineering/PAF packages) coupled with field experience will be considered.
General Terms and Conditions
According to the rules, candidates must adhere to the following
- Policy Compliance: Recruitment will be carried out strictly in accordance with the Government of Punjab Recruitment Policy 2022 and the Contract Appointment Policy 2004.
- Age Relaxation: General age relaxation will be applicable as per the prevailing policy of the Government of Punjab (5 years for male candidates and up to 10 years for others where applicable across Punjab).
- Domicile: Only individuals possessing a valid domicile of the Punjab province are eligible to apply.
- Document Verification: Candidates must bring their original academic degrees, diplomas, experience certificates, CNIC, and domicile at the time of the test or interview. Any forged documentation will result in immediate disqualification.
- TA/DA: No Travel Allowance or Daily Allowance (TA/DA) will be provided to candidates appearing for the test or interview.
