Meezan Bank, recognized as the premier Islamic bank, has announced a new career opportunity for the position of Product Manager – Digital SME & Agri Financing within its Digital Financing, Wholesale Banking – Corporate, Commercial & Investment Banking Group. The role is based at the bank’s Head Office in Karachi.
This position is designed for professionals looking to drive innovation in Islamic banking by digitizing customer journeys and managing modern financial products for small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) and the agricultural sector.
Key Job Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of digital SME and agriculture financing initiatives. Core responsibilities include:
- Product Development: Developing and managing specialized Digital SME and Agri Financing products and strategic initiatives.
- Digitization: Driving continuous product enhancements and the digitization of end-to-end customer journeys to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinating closely with internal stakeholders including Business, Shariah compliance, Credit Administration Department (CAD), Risk, IT, and Operations, as well as external partners.
Eligibility Criteria
Interested applicants must meet the following qualification and experience standards:
1. Qualification
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (preferably a Master’s degree) in Business or Computer Sciences from an HEC-recognized institute or university.
- An additional qualification in Islamic Finance will be considered an added advantage.
2. Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity.
