New Career Opportunities: Government of Sindh Food Department Announces Food Inspector Vacancies
The Government of Sindh Food Department has officially announced several job openings for the position of Food Inspector (BPS-14). This recruitment drive aims to fill 50 vacant positions across various regions of the Sindh province, offering a significant opportunity for eligible graduates seeking a career in public service.
Vacancy Distribution by Region
The total number of seats is distributed across five key administrative regions within Sindh:
- Hyderabad: 27 vacancies
- Shaheed Benazirabad: 10 vacancies
- Mirpurkhas: 7 vacancies
- Sukkur: 6 vacancies
- Larkana: 6 vacancies
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for these roles, candidates must meet the following stringent requirements:
- Residency: Applicants must hold a valid domicile and Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of Sindh Province.
- Education: Candidates must possess at least a Second Division Graduation degree from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
- Age Limit: The general age bracket is between 21 and 28 years. However, an upper age relaxation of up to 5 years is applicable as per the Sindh Civil Servants Rules.
- Mandatory Testing: Applicants must have passed the General Screening Test (Graduation Category) conducted by Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS) with a minimum score of 40%. A valid STS certificate is required for the appointment.
