The department is hiring for two primary roles under this development project:
1. Laboratory Assistant (PPS-2)
- Total Posts: 08
- Monthly Salary: Rs. 40,000
- Age Limit: Up to 35 years
- Educational Qualification & Experience: Matriculation (2nd Division) with Science from a recognized board. Candidates must also possess one year of relevant experience in the public or private sector.
- Selection Mode: Interview by the Departmental Selection Committee.
2. Driver (PPS-1)
- Total Posts: 11
- Monthly Salary: Rs. 37,000
- Age Limit: Up to 35 years
- Educational Qualification & Experience: Middle pass with a valid LTV/HTV driving license. One year of relevant driving experience in the public or private sector is required. Preference will be given to candidates with practical experience.
- Selection Mode: Interview by the Departmental Selection Committee.
Regional Quotas and Posting Districts
The positions are district-specific. Candidates belonging to the following districts will be given preference for their respective regions:
- Laboratory Assistant Vacancies: Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, Vehari, Khanewal, Lodhran, Muzaffargarh, Layyah, and Rajanpur.
- Driver Vacancies: Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, Vehari, Khanewal, Lodhran, Muzaffargarh, Layyah, Rajanpur, Multan, Hafizabad, and Sheikhupura.
Terms and Conditions
- Contract Nature: The positions are temporary, project-based, and non-pensionable. They do not confer any right to permanent regular conversion. The initial contract is for one year, extendable subject to project approval.
- Government Servants: Applicants currently working in government, semi-government, or autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel.
- Age Relaxation: Upper/lower age relaxation will be admissible as per the prevailing government policy.
- No TA/DA: No travel or daily allowance will be paid to candidates appearing for tests or interviews.
