EDB Announces Multiple Vacancies for Pakistan’s Flagship EV Program ‘PAVE’


The Engineering Development Board (EDB) under the Ministry of Industries and Production, Government of Pakistan, has invited applications for multiple contractual positions under the Pakistan Accelerated Vehicle Electrification (PAVE) Program.

The initiative aims to attract qualified professionals to drive the country’s transition to electric vehicles (EVs). The appointments will be made on an open contract basis, initially for one year with the possibility of extension based on performance. While the posts are based in Islamabad, the roles require nationwide travel as needed.

Key Positions and Eligibility

The PAVE Program is seeking to fill 10 types of positions, ranging from managerial to assistant levels:

· Project Manager (1 post): Requires a Master’s degree (16 years) in Engineering, Business Administration, or Finance with 10–12 years of experience in public sector programs or the EV/energy sector. Age limit: 35–65 years.
· Financial/Banking Specialist (1 post): Requires 4–7 years of experience in banking, finance, or SME lending. Age limit: 25–50 years.
· Accounts/Audit Specialist (1 post): Requires 4–7 years of experience in accounts, audit, or financial compliance. CA/ACCA/CMA or MBA Finance preferred.
· Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Specialist (1 post): Requires 4–7 years of M&E experience in public programs or incentive schemes.
· Information Technology Specialist (1 post): Requires 4–7 years of experience in MIS/database systems and digital platforms.
· Analyst-level positions (Financial, Accounts, Procurement/Contracts): Require 2–5 years of relevant experience.
· M&E Assistants (2 posts) & General Assistants (4 posts): Require Intermediate qualification with 2 years of experience (for M&E) and basic computer skills (for General Assistants).
