Punjab Wildlife and Parks Department Announces New Project-Based Job Opportunities

The Government of the Punjab, specifically the Punjab Wildlife and Parks Department, has officially announced several exciting job openings under its development project, “Establishment of Wildlife Communication Hub and Experience Facilities in Punjab.”

These positions are being offered on a contract basis, with the possibility of extension subject to satisfactory performance. If you have a passion for wildlife conservation, media production, and digital storytelling, this could be your chance to make a meaningful impact.

Available Positions & Eligibility Criteria

The department is seeking highly skilled professionals for five distinct roles within the project. Below are the specific requirements for each vacancy:

1. Communication Lead (PPS-09)

  • Vacancies: 1
  • Maximum Age Limit: 45 Years
  • Qualifications: 16 years of education in Information Technology, Digital Media, Communication Studies, Mass Communication, Humanities, or a relevant field from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in communication, digital media, or related fields. Experience in conservation or environmental-related topics, or previous advertising agency experience, is highly preferred.

2. Wildlife Photographer / Videographer (PPS-08)

  • Vacancies: 1
  • Maximum Age Limit: 45 Years
  • Qualifications: Intermediate (12 years qualification) from a recognized university or board.
  • Experience: Practical experience is heavily emphasized. Candidates must have substantial experience in wildlife photography and videography, particularly in conservation-related projects. Hands-on experience at national and international levels, as well as published work on prominent platforms, is highly desirable.

3. Video Editor (PPS-08)

  • Vacancies: 1
  • Maximum Age Limit: 35 Years
  • Qualifications: 16 years of education in Fine Arts, Film & TV, Media Studies, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in video editing. Preference will be given to individuals with wildlife-related media experience and advertising agency backgrounds.

4. Content Creator / Script Writer (PPS-08)

  • Vacancies: 1
  • Maximum Age Limit: 35 Years
  • Qualifications: 16 years of education in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in content creation. Experience in environmental or wildlife-focused content is a major plus. Candidates with advertising agency experience and animation skills are preferred.

5. Graphic Designer / Animator (PPS-07)

  • Vacancies: 1
  • Maximum Age Limit: 35 Years
  • Qualifications: 16 years of education in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Film & TV, Computer Science, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design. Preference will be given to those with environmental/wildlife-related design backgrounds, advertising agency experience, and animation skills.

Important Terms & Conditions

  • Domicile: Candidates must hold a valid Punjab domicile.
  • Job Nature: These roles are project-based and contract-oriented. They may require travel to various project sites across the province.
  • Government Employees: Candidates currently working in Government or Semi-Government departments must apply through the proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their competent authority.
  • Multiple Applications: If you wish to apply for more than one position, you must submit a separate application for each post.
  • TA/DA: No TA/DA will be provided for the test or interview. Original CNIC, degrees, and experience certificates must be produced at the time of the interview.
