Survey of Pakistan Announces Multiple Vacancies Across Various Posts
The Survey of Pakistan (SoP), a federal government department, has announced numerous job vacancies for Pakistani nationals. Applications are now open for a range of positions from assistant to driver, with the deadline for submission set for June 8, 2026.

· Assistant (BS-15): Requires a graduation degree and completion of a 6-week Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) from NITB during probation. There are 13 vacancies (Merit: 2, Punjab: 7, Sindh-R: 1, Sindh-U: 1, KPK: 1, Ex-FATA: 1) with a quota for 1 woman and 1 minority candidate. Age limit: 18-30 years.
· UDC (Upper Division Clerk) (BS-13): Requires intermediate education and a 3-week Basic IT Training Course. There are 15 vacancies (Punjab: 8, Sindh-R: 2, Sindh-U: 1, KPK: 1, Bal.: 1) with 2 seats for women and 1 for minorities.
· LDC (Lower Division Clerk) (BS-11): Requires matriculation, a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute, and the same IT training course. There are 15 vacancies (Merit: 1, Punjab: 8, Sindh-R: 2, Sindh-U: 1, KPK: 1, Bal.: 1) with quotas for 2 women and 1 minority.
· Telephone Operator (BS-09): One vacancy for Punjab. Candidates need intermediate education with two years of experience as a telephone operator.
· Computer Hardware Technician (BS-07): Requires F.Sc (Second Class or Grade ‘C’) with a six-month certificate in Computer Hardware from a government institute. There are 8 vacancies (Merit: 1, Punjab: 4, Sindh-U: 1, Sindh-R: 1, KPK: 1).
· Mechanics (Welder) (BS-05) & (Carpenter) (BS-04): Both require middle school pass and one year of relevant experience. There are 4 vacancies for welder (Punjab: 1, Sindh-R: 1) and 4 for carpenter (KPK: 1, Sindh-R: 1).
· Driver (BS-04): Requires primary school pass, a valid driving license, and knowledge of traffic rules. There are 13 vacancies (Punjab: 8, Sindh-U: 2, KPK: 1, Bal.: 2), with 8 seats reserved for ex-army personnel.

· Deadline: The closing date for applications is June 8, 2026. Late applications will not be accepted.
· Age Limit: The general age limit is 18-30 years, with relaxation applicable as per government rules.
· Test Centers: Screening (written) and skill (practical) tests will be held in Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Lahore, Quetta, and Karachi.
· Government Employees: Those currently in government, semi-government, or autonomous bodies (including SoP employees) must apply through the proper channel with a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
· Original Documents: Candidates must bring original and attested copies of all educational/experience certificates, photos, CNIC, and domicile at the time of the interview. Ex-army personnel must provide their DASB.
· No TA/DA: No travel or daily allowance will be provided for tests or interviews.
The department has warned that applications with incorrect information will be rejected at any stage. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests or interviews, and all correspondence will be conducted via registered mobile numbers.
