Government of Balochistan Announces Job Opportunities Under Deceased Employee Quota (Lawahikeen Quota)
The Directorate General of Mines and Minerals, Government of Balochistan, has officially released a public notice inviting applications for employment under the deceased employee quota (Lawahikeen Quota). As detailed in the advertisement, applications are open for the legal heirs of government employees who passed away during their service between April 18, 2007, and October 18, 2018.
Appointments will be carried out strictly in accordance with the current rules, regulations, and recruitment policies of the Government of Balochistan.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for these vacant positions, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
- Legal Heirship: The applicant must be a legally recognized heir (spouse, son, or daughter) of the deceased employee of the Directorate General of Mines and Minerals, Balochistan.
- Service Period of the Deceased: The deceased government servant must have passed away during active service within the specific window of 18-04-2007 to 18-10-2018.
- General Requirements: The applicant must meet all standard criteria regarding educational qualification, age limit, local/domicile status, and other rules set by the department.
- One Appointment Per Employee: Only one legal heir per deceased employee is entitled to secure a job under this quota.
- No Specific Post Claim: Applicants cannot demand or claim a specific post or rank. The final appointment depends entirely on the available vacant posts, the candidate’s qualifications/merit, and the decision of the relevant department committee.
Required Documents
Applicants must submit attested copies of the following mandatory documents alongside their application form:
- Application Letter: Addressed to the Director General, Mines and Minerals, Balochistan.
- CNIC Copy: Computerized National Identity Card of the applicant.
- Local/Domicile Certificate: Proof of residence in Balochistan.
- Educational Certificates: Transcripts, degrees, or certifications.
- Death Certificate: Official death certificate of the deceased employee issued by the department.
- NADRA Death Certificate: Standardized death registration certificate from NADRA.
- Legal Heirship Certificate: Valid document confirming the applicant is the legal heir.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) / Affidavit: If a son or daughter is applying, they must provide a certified affidavit signed by the surviving spouse and all other adult legal heirs stating they have no objection to the applicant getting the job.
- Photographs: Two recent passport-sized photographs.
How to Apply
- Application Deadline: Complete applications along with all required documents must be submitted within 15 days from the date of the advertisement’s publication.
- Submission Office: Applications should be formally submitted to the Directorate General of Mines and Minerals, Balochistan.
