SIUT Announces Multiple Career Opportunities for Medical and Support Staff
The Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT), one of Pakistan’s premier healthcare institutions, has announced a series of vacancies for compassionate and committed professionals. The recruitment drive spans various departments, from Paediatric Cardiac Intensive Care to Fire & Safety.
Established over five decades ago as an eight-bed unit, SIUT has grown into a 1500-bed healthcare institution with multiple operational centers across Sindh. It is renowned for providing medical services with dignity and respect, without any discrimination.
The institute is inviting applications for a purpose-driven team. Key openings include:
· Paediatric Cardiac Intensive Care: Seeking an Assistant Professor with an FCPS in Paediatrics and additional fellowship training in Paediatric Intensive Care or Cardiology. Experience in managing congenital heart disease is preferred.
· Vascular Surgery & Urology: Positions for Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor are available. Requirements range from fresh FCPS/MS qualifications to PMDC-compliant experience and publications.
· Anaesthesia: Opportunities for Consultant, Specialist, and Senior RMO, with experience requirements ranging from fresh training to 5–7 years post-MCPS qualification.
· Nursing: Staff Nurses with a B.ScN or Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery and a valid PNC registration are needed. Two years of experience is required, with preference given to candidates skilled in Paediatric Nursing or Emergency departments. ACLS and BLS certifications are considered an added advantage.
· Allied and Support Services: SIUT is also hiring a Trainee Dietitian, Dialysis Technicians/Technologists with 1–2 years of experience, and a Fire & Safety Supervisor and Fire Fighter with relevant certifications and experience.
