Eligibility and Qualifications
Candidates must meet specific academic and age requirements to be considered for these roles:
SSET (BS-17): Requires an MA, M.Ed, or BS (1st Division or Grade B) in Special Education with specialization in the relevant field (Deaf, Physically Handicapped, or Mentally Challenged).
JSET (BS-16): Requires an MA or BS (2nd Division or Grade C) in Special Education with the relevant specialization. For the VI field, a Certificate of Proficiency in Braille is also required.
Age Limit: 21 to 28 years.
Experience: While fresh candidates are encouraged to apply, those with prior teaching experience will be given preference.
Terms of Engagement
Nature: Purely temporary, non-pensionable, and school-specific.
Duration: 09 months (excluding summer vacations) during the 2025-26 and 2026-27 financial years.
Monthly Honorarium: * BS-17: Rs. 45,000/-
BS-16: Rs. 40,000/-
Termination: The engagement can be terminated with one month’s notice or payment of one month’s salary from either side.

Documentation: Submit an application along with an updated CV, attested copies of CNIC, Domicile, Academic Certificates/Degrees, Experience Certificates, and two passport-size pictures.
Submission Office: Applications must reach the Office of the Focal Person, Special Education, District Sialkot, located at the Govt. Secondary School of Special Education for Hearing Impaired, Baba Bari Naika Pura, Sialkot.
Deadline: Applications must be submitted by hand or post by May 4, 2026, at 4:00 PM.
Interview: Eligible candidates are required to appear for an interview on May 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner Sialkot. No separate call letters or SMS notifications will be sent.
Note: Candidates must bring original documents at the time of the interview. No TA/DA will be provided for the interview process.
