Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates must meet specific academic and age requirements to be considered for these roles:

• SSET (BS-17): Requires an MA, M.Ed, or BS (1st Division or Grade B) in Special Education with specialization in the relevant field (Deaf, Physically Handicapped, or Mentally Challenged).
• JSET (BS-16): Requires an MA or BS (2nd Division or Grade C) in Special Education with the relevant specialization. For the VI field, a Certificate of Proficiency in Braille is also required.
• Age Limit: 21 to 28 years.
• Experience: While fresh candidates are encouraged to apply, those with prior teaching experience will be given preference.

Terms of Engagement

• Nature: Purely temporary, non-pensionable, and school-specific.
• Duration: 09 months (excluding summer vacations) during the 2025-26 and 2026-27 financial years.
• Monthly Honorarium: * BS-17: Rs. 45,000/-
  • BS-16: Rs. 40,000/-
• Termination: The engagement can be terminated with one month’s notice or payment of one month’s salary from either side.
