Massive Healthcare Recruitment Drive Announced for Rakhshan Division, Balochistan
The Health Department of Balochistan has announced a significant recruitment initiative, inviting qualified healthcare professionals to participate in walk-in interviews for various positions across several hospitals and health units in the Rakhshan Division.

- Location: Office of the Commissioner/Chairman Divisional Health Recruitment Committee, Rakhshan Division, in Kharan.
Available Positions and Vacancies
The recruitment covers a wide range of medical specialties and nursing roles, categorized by Basic Pay Scale (BPS):
Specialized Medical Positions (BPS-18)
A total of 56 specialized positions are available, including:
- Assistant Professors: Pediatrics, Gynecology, Medicine, Surgery, and Anesthesia.
- Senior Registrars: Orthopedic Surgery, Radiology, Pulmonology, Surgery, and Psychiatry.
- Specialists: Pediatricians, Eye Specialists, ENT Specialists, Anesthetists, Surgeons, Psychiatrists, Orthopedic Surgeons, Pathologists, Gynecologists, Radiologists, Cardiologists, and Physicians.
General Medical and Dental Positions (BPS-17)
The drive aims to fill over 115 general medical roles, including:
- Medical Officers: 63 positions.
- Lady Medical Officers: 47 positions.
- Dental Surgeons: 6 positions.
Nursing and Paramedical Positions (BPS-16 & BPS-17)
Over 65 nursing opportunities are available across the division:
- Staff Nurses (BPS-16): 59 positions.
- Male Nurses (BPS-16): 5 positions.
- Clinical Instructor, Tutor Nurse, Pharmacist, and Head Nurse: Various BPS-17 roles.
Participating Health Facilities
Vacancies are distributed across multiple locations, including Teaching DHQ Hospital Kharan, Prince Fahad Hospital Dalbandin, SKBZ Civil Hospital Basima, and various DHO offices and THQ hospitals in Noshki, Chagai, and Washuk.
Eligibility and Application Requirements
The appointments are offered on a contractual/ad-hoc basis for one year, with a possibility of extension based on performance. Key requirements include:
- Credentials: Valid MBBS/BDS/BS Nursing degrees recognized by PMDC/PNC, along with relevant post-graduate qualifications and permanent registration.
- Domicile: Candidates must be local/domicile residents of Balochistan.
- Documentation: Applicants must bring two sets of verified copies of educational credentials, professional experience, CNIC, and four passport-sized photos with an updated CV. Original documents must be presented on the interview day.
- Current Employees: Candidates currently working in government or semi-government organizations must apply through the proper channel with an NOC.
