NADRA Announces Walk-In Interviews for Scanning Operators in Karachi
The National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA), Government of Pakistan, has announced exciting, project-based job opportunities for residents of the Karachi Division. According to the official advertisement, NADRA is conducting walk-in interviews for the position of Scanning Operator.

Job Details & Eligibility Criteria
- Position: Scanning Operator (Project-based)
- Age Limit: Maximum 25 years (Note: A 5-year age relaxation has already been included in this prescribed limit).
- Minimum Qualification: Intermediate or Equivalent.
- Job Location: Kandawala Building (Karachi South).
- Work Shifts: Morning, Evening, and Night (3 shifts, 6 days a week. Candidates must be willing to work any shift as required).
- Contract Duration: Purely on a contract basis for a period of three (03) months only.
Salary and Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be assigned the task of archiving old NADRA records. The core operational requirements include:
- Target: Scanning a minimum of 400 pages per day.
- Remuneration: A base salary of Rs. 40,000 per month will be paid. This excludes a separate incentive amount per scanned form, which will be determined by the Authority.
Interview Schedule & Venue
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can walk in directly for the interview process. No prior registration is required.
- Dates: Tuesday, 7th July 2026 to Friday, 10th July 2026
- Time: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Venue: 4th Floor, Kandawala Building, M.A. Jinnah Road, Karachi (Sindh).
Important Terms & Conditions
Before heading to the interview venue, candidates must keep the following rules and instructions in mind:
- Domicile Restriction: Only residents of the Karachi Division as per their CNIC/Domicile shall be allowed to appear for the interview.
- Required Documentation: Interested candidates must bring their original educational and professional documents at the time of the interview. Government/Semi-Government employees must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- Inclusivity: Students, females, minorities, transgender persons, and differently-abled persons are highly encouraged to apply.
- Security & Compliance: Selected candidates must strictly comply with NADRA’s Data and Information Security Policies.
- Prohibited Items: Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, smartwatches, etc., will not be allowed inside the interview premises.
- TA/DA: No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview.
Note: These positions are strictly project-specific and temporary. Selection against these positions shall not confer any right or claim for regular/contractual appointment or regularization in NADRA. Services will automatically terminate upon completion of the project period.
