Available Positions & Eligibility Criteria

1. Driver (Job Code: 1906-1906-1)

• Location: Karachi
• Qualification: Matriculate.
• License Requirement: Must possess a valid HTV (Heavy Transport Vehicle) Driving License.
• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant driving experience in a reputable organization. (Trainings in Safe Driving are preferable).
• Job Summary: The selected candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Heavy-type Transport Vehicles to transport personnel, machinery/equipment, and materials to operational and field locations. Duties include ensuring compliance with national traffic laws, driving safety policies, and performing routine vehicle maintenance.

2. Crane Operator (Job Code: 1907-1907-1)

• Location: Karachi
• Qualification: Matriculate.
• Certification: Certification as a Crane Operator from a recognized technical institution or relevant training body.
• License Requirement: Must possess a valid HTV Driving License.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in operating Truck-Mounted, Hydraulic, Boom Cranes, or similar lifting equipment. Candidates must have proven experience in construction, industrial, utility, pipeline, oil & gas, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects, including experience in heavy lifting operations and working under confined site conditions.
• Job Summary: Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of truck-mounted cranes for lifting, moving, positioning, and placing materials, equipment, pipes, and machinery. The role demands high safety consciousness, compliance with operational procedures, and capability in preventive maintenance and routine inspections.

Important Terms & Conditions

• Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test/interview phase.
• Government Employees: Candidates currently working in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous organizations must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the test/interview.
• Posting Policy: Selected candidates must serve at their appointed location (Karachi) and will not be transferred elsewhere except for specific operational requirements.
• No TA/DA: No Travel Allowance or Daily Allowance (TA/DA) will be provided for attending the test or interview.
• Document Verification: Immediate disqualification will apply if a candidate fails to provide the required certificates, degrees, HTV license, or experience certificates at the time of the test/interview, or if false information is submitted.
• Right of Management: SSGC management reserves the right to cancel or withdraw the positions at any stage without prior notice.
