SZABIST Karachi Announces Multiple Faculty and Staff Positions
The Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST) has announced a wide range of faculty and staff openings at its Karachi campus, inviting qualified candidates to apply before June 7, 2026.

Faculty Positions Available
SZABIST is hiring for several academic roles, with requirements following HEC appointment criteria. Candidates must hold degrees from HEC-recognized universities.
· Law: Assistant Professor position requiring an LLM degree from a foreign (preferably UK-based) or HEC-recognized university. Suspension of legal practice license at the time of joining is mandatory.
· Computer Science: Openings for Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. Candidates must hold a PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or Cyber Security. Lecturer and Jr. Lecturer roles are also available for MS/MPhil degree holders in related fields.
· Robotics & Artificial Intelligence: Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor roles for PhD holders in Computer Science, AI, or Data Science with relevant publications. Lecturer/Senior Lecturer positions require an MS degree.
· Biosciences: Assistant Professor with a PhD in Food Science & Technology or relevant fields.
· Public Health: Assistant Professor requiring an MS/MPhil or PhD in Health/Nutrition and Dietetics.
· Social Sciences: Assistant Professor (PhD in International Relations) and Lecturer (MS/MPhil in Linguistics, Literature, Psychology, Pakistan Studies, or Islamic Studies).
· Education: Lecturer/Jr. Lecturer with an MS/MPhil in Education or Educational Leadership.
· Management Sciences: Assistant Professor (PhD in Project Management) and Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (18 years of education in relevant disciplines including MBA/MS with ACCA or CMA, Business Analytics, banking, or Social Sciences).
Staff Positions Open
· Senior Software Engineer (ZABSolutions): MS in Computer Science or related discipline with 3 years of development experience. Proficiency required in ASP.Net, .Net Core, MVC, JavaScript, and SQL Server.
· Assistant Controller (Examinations): Master’s degree (18 years) with 5 years of similar experience.
· Assistant Manager (University Advancement): Master’s degree (18 years) with 5 years of experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, alumni relations, or advancement functions.
· Lab Engineer (Computer Sciences): BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
· Lab Engineer (Robotics & AI): BS degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or Computer Science.
· IT Officer Services: BSCS/BSSE (4 years) with 2 years of experience in Windows installations, networking, and databases.
· IT Assistant Officer Services: Relevant experience in Windows installations, networking, and databases.
