WASA Mandi Bahauddin Announces Walk-in Interviews for Temporary Positions
The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) in Mandi Bahauddin has announced a major recruitment drive, inviting candidates to apply for over 50 vacant positions across various departments. The openings range from engineering roles to field staff, all offered on a temporary, daily-wage basis.
According to an official advertisement issued by the Managing Director’s office, the agency is looking to fill posts including Graduate Engineers, Sub Engineers, Accountants, Drivers, Tubewell Operators, and Sewer Men.
Key Positions and Requirements
The agency is seeking three Graduate Engineers with a B.Sc. in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from a PEC/HEC-recognized university and a minimum of two years of experience. For the Sub Engineer (Civil) posts, a three-year DAE diploma with five years of experience is required.
Clerical and technical roles include one Senior Accountant (MBA/B.Com), five Assistant Field Inspectors (BA/BSc candidates must own a bike and a valid license), and three Junior Operators with Intermediate degrees and MS Office diplomas.
The majority of vacancies are labor and operational roles, including 20 Sewer Men (must be physically fit), six Drivers (Middle Pass with valid HTV/LTV licenses), six Tubewell Operators, and three Sewer Supervisors.
Strictly Temporary with No Permanent Rights
In a significant note for applicants, WASA has emphasized that all posts are “purely on temporary/daily wages basis” for a period of just 30 days. The advertisement explicitly states that appointees “have no right to claim himself/herself as a regular/permanent employee” and that services “will automatically be terminated on expiry of 30 days.”

Candidates residing in Punjab are required to appear for walk-in interviews at the WASA Office, Phalia Road (Opposite Suraj Motera), Mandi Bahauddin.
