Job Opportunities: Balochistan Centre of Excellence on Countering Violent Extremism (COE-CVE)

The Home Department in Quetta has re-invited applications for several contractual positions at the Balochistan Centre of Excellence on Countering Violent Extremism (COE-CVE). These roles are initially offered for a one-year period, with the possibility of extension based on organizational needs and performance.

Available Positions and Requirements

The recruitment covers a diverse range of professional and support staff roles:

  • Senior Research Analyst (PPS-08): One position available for both male and female candidates. Applicants need a Master’s or M.Phil in Social Sciences, Criminology, or related fields, along with five years of relevant experience.
  • Cyber Security Analyst (PPS-07): Two openings requiring a Master’s or M.Phil in Computer Science or IT-related fields from an HEC-recognized institution, plus five years of experience in network monitoring.
  • Research Analyst – Media (PPS-07): Two positions (one male, one female). Requires a Master’s or M.Phil in Mass Communication or International Relations and five years of experience in media relations.
  • Research Analyst (PPS-07): One position for candidates with a Master’s or M.Phil in Social or Management Sciences. Two years of experience in data analysis is preferred.
  • Admin & Finance Officer (PPS-07): One position requiring a Master’s or M.Phil in Economics, Finance, or MBA, preferably with two years of experience.
  • Video Editor (PPS-06): One position for BS degree holders in film production or broadcasting with two years of experience in Adobe Creative Cloud or similar software.
  • Support Staff: There are also openings for Office Boys (2 posts) and Drivers (3 posts), requiring a Matric qualification and relevant practical experience.

Key Application Details

  • Eligibility: While open to all, preference will be given to candidates with a local Balochistan domicile.
  • Age Limits: Age requirements vary by post, generally ranging from 22 to 43 years old, including age relaxation.
  • Selection Process: Shortlisting is based strictly on merit. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews in Quetta and must present original documents.
