As one of the largest financial institutions in the country, NBP is looking for dedicated and experienced professionals to help transform the institution into a future-fit and sustainable bank.
Here is a breakdown of the currently available positions:
1. Unit Head – Credit Policy (AVP / VP)
This role reports to the Wing Head of Credit Policy within the Credit Risk Management Division.
- Qualifications: Minimum graduation from an HEC-recognized institution. Candidates with a Master’s degree or professional certifications like CFA, FRM, or ICMA are preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of banking experience in Corporate, Commercial, or SME sectors, specifically within Business or Risk Management.
- Key Responsibilities: Developing and revising bank credit policies, providing support for new product programs, and coordinating with auditors to ensure effective function audits.
2. Unit Head – Budget (AVP / VP)
This position reports to the Wing Head of HR Administration & Coordination in the Enterprise Risk Management Division.
- Qualifications: Minimum graduation (preferably Master’s) in Finance or Accounting.
- Experience: 5 years in Banking/Financial Institutions, with at least 3 years specifically in Finance, Budgeting, or Administration.
- Key Responsibilities: Leading the budget function for operating expenditures (OPEX) and capital expenditures (CAPEX), preparing annual budgets, and managing records of dead stock and fixed assets.
3. Credit Risk Officer (OG-I / AVP)
This role reports to the Manager of Credit Risk within the Credit Risk Management Division.
- Qualifications: Minimum graduation from an HEC-recognized institution; Master’s degree or CFA qualified candidates are preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in Enterprise Risk, Risk Modeling, or Risk Consulting services.
- Key Responsibilities: Performing validation and back-testing of Risk Rating models, supporting the calculation of Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA), and ensuring compliance with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Basel frameworks.
