Job Opportunity: Daanish School Kuri, Islamabad Announces Teaching Positions
The Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training (Daanish Wing) has released a vacancy announcement for qualified teaching staff at the Daanish School Kuri, Islamabad. The notification invites eligible candidates to apply for multiple teaching positions, available on a contract basis.
Available Positions & Eligibility
A total of 40 teaching positions (4 per subject) are open for Mathematics, English, Urdu, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Islamiyat, Social Studies, General Science, Computer Science, and Geography.
All positions are classified under Pay Scale DS-16 (equivalent to government BPS with an additional allowance equal to one basic pay). The initial contract is for three (03) years, extendable based on performance.
Key Requirements Common to All Posts:
· Education: 16 years of education (Master’s/BSc/BSc Hons) in the relevant subject from an HEC-recognized institution.
· Minimum CGPA: 2.50 (out of 4) or 3.50 (out of 5). A second division is also acceptable where applicable.
· Preferred Qualification: M.Ed. or B.Ed. is given due advantage.
· Age Limit: Up to 50 years.
· Gender: Two male and two female candidates per subject.
Subject-Specific Notes:
· English Teacher: Requires degree in English Language, Literature, TEFL, TESL, or TESOL. Strong emphasis on formal presentation, writing skills, and mastery of literary genres.
· Urdu Teacher: Requires degree in Urdu; strong written/verbal communication and knowledge of Urdu grammar and composition.
· Islamiyat Teacher: Degree in Islamiyat, Islamic Studies, Shariah, or Al-Quran. Courses in Arabic are an added advantage.
· Computer Science Teacher: Degree in CS, Software Engineering, MCSE, or IT.
