The position involves overseeing TB control activities, managing field staff, and ensuring high-quality data management across district and regional levels.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
· Working closely with government and parastatal hospitals, as well as Key Personnel including CHOs, TB Screeners, and District Coordinators (DCs)
· Preparing and submitting a monthly regional work plan to the Regional Coordinator
· Ensuring accurate data management and regular data entry in both hard and soft forms
· Reviewing activity and work plans of CHOs, TB Screeners, TB Counselors, and DCs, and providing constructive feedback
· Conducting random field visits to TB patients, laboratories, large hospitals, informal practitioners, IPC activity sites, and chest camps for quality assurance
· Ensuring regular, planned lab visits by field staff to maintain high-quality standards
· Managing TB drug stock and inventory, including approval of district/zonal medicine requests at the clinic level
· Performing any other tasks assigned by the supervisor
Required Qualifications & Skills
Candidates must possess:
· Experience in data management and handling, along with strong data analysis skills
· Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
· Strong managerial abilities
· A proven track record of teamwork
· Strong command of MS Office
· Ability to ensure the accuracy and credibility of reports
