P&D Department Quetta Seeks Project Director for Sui Town Master Plan Implementation
The Planning & Development (P&D) Department, Government of Balochistan, has announced a vacant position for the role of Project Director within the Project Management Unit (PMU) for the PSDP-funded schemes under the “Implementation of Master Plan of Sui Town (SMP).”
This appointment offers a unique opportunity for seasoned professionals to lead a critical development initiative in the historic gas-rich town of Sui. The position is based in Quetta and will be filled on a purely contract basis for an initial period of two years, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance.
Eligibility Criteria
The department is seeking dynamic, qualified, and result-oriented individuals. The key requirements for the position (PPS-10) include:
· Education: A minimum of 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized university in disciplines such as Public Administration, Management Sciences, Project Management, Development Studies, Public Policy, Economics, Social Sciences, or Civil Engineering.
· Experience: Candidates must possess 10–15 years of professional experience in the public sector, specifically in development or project management.
· Preferred Skills: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in multi-sector development projects/PMUs, the Education/Health/Infrastructure sectors, coordination with government and donors, and previous work on development projects in Balochistan.
· Age Limit: Applicants must be between 40 and 62 years of age.
