BPSC Announces : Over 1,300 Vacancies in Health and Police Departments

The Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released Consolidated Advertisement No. 04/2026, inviting applications for a significant number of professional roles within the Government of Balochistan. This recruitment drive primarily targets the healthcare sector and law enforcement, offering a vital opportunity for qualified residents of the province.


Key Opportunities in the Health Department

The bulk of the recruitment is centered on strengthening the provincial healthcare system with over 1,200 positions available:

  • Medical Officers (B-17): 697 Posts (Male Only)
  • Lady Medical Officers (B-17): 239 Posts (Female Only)
    • Requirement: MBBS or equivalent recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) plus a one-year house job.
  • Staff Nurses (B-16): 355 Posts (Male & Female)
    • Requirement: Nursing Diploma (Registered Nurse/Midwife) or a 4-year B.S. in Nursing.
  • Health Management Cadre (B-17): 10 Posts
    • Requirement: MBBS/BDS with a Master’s degree in Public Health or Health Administration.

Vacancies in Balochistan Police

The Home & Tribal Affairs Department is seeking to recruit 19 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASI – B-11) under a specific Women’s Quota.

  • Eligibility: Intermediate (F.A./F.Sc) qualification.
  • Physical Standard: Minimum height of 5’3″.
  • Selection Process: Candidates must pass a subjective written exam covering English and Urdu essays, General Knowledge, and Translation.

Important Eligibility & Zonal Allocation

BPSC strictly adheres to the Zonal Allocation Policy of 1991. Vacancies are distributed across various zones including Kalat, Zhob, Nasirabad, Mekran, Quetta, Sibi, and Quetta City.

Age Limit: Generally between 18 to 28 years (or up to 35 for specific roles), with a general upper age relaxation of up to 43 years granted by the Government of Balochistan for most provincial posts.
