Government of Balochistan Announces New Job Vacancies in Archaeology and Museums Department
The Government of Balochistan, Directorate of Archaeology and Museums, has officially announced multiple vacant positions for local and domiciled residents of the province. This recruitment drive offers diverse opportunities across various scales (BPS-08 to BPS-14) for different stations, including Quetta, Ziarat, Sibi, and Gwadar.

1. Directorate of Archaeology and Museums (Quetta)
- Assistant Computer Operator (B-12)
- Vacancies: 01
- Zonal Quota: Makran
- Eligibility: Higher Secondary School Certificate (Intermediate) from a recognized board, along with a 1-year diploma in IT/Computer Science, OR an ICS degree. Candidates must possess a typing speed of at least 60 words per minute (wpm) in both English and Urdu.

- Zonal Quota: Kachhi (Boland)
- Eligibility: Intermediate (FA/FSc) or equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
- Photographer (B-08) – Contractual
- Vacancies: 01
- Zonal Quota: Kalat
- Eligibility: Higher Secondary School Certificate (Intermediate) with 5 years of practical experience in photography, OR a 1-year diploma in photography/conservation field from a recognized institute with at least 1 year of experience.
2. Quaid-e-Azam Residency (Ziarat)

- Eligibility: B.Com, BBA, or equivalent degree from a recognized university, alongside a minimum 3-month basic computer automation/MS Office certificate from a recognized institute.

4. Gwadar Fort Museum (Gwadar)

- District Quota: Gwadar
- Eligibility: Higher Secondary School Certificate (Intermediate) with a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and Urdu. Proficiency in operating IT software/MS Office is preferred.
Terms and Conditions (Eligibility Criteria)
- Recruitment Policy: All recruitments will be made strictly in accordance with the Government of Balochistan Recruitment Policy 2009.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 to 28 years of age. However, general age relaxation will be applicable as per prevailing government rules.
- Government Employees: Candidates already serving in government departments must apply through the proper channel (NOC required).
- Application Attachments: Applications must be accompanied by verified copies of educational certificates, local/domicile certificates, CNIC, and recent passport-sized photographs.
- Incomplete Applications: Applications that are incomplete or missing verified documents will be rejected immediately.
- Test/Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test/interview by the selection committee formed by the Government of Balochistan. Original documents must be presented at the time of the interview.
- TA/DA: No Travel Allowance or Daily Allowance (TA/DA) will be provided to candidates appearing for tests or interviews.
