Quaid-i-Azam University Announces Project Staff Recruitment for NIISS
The National Institute of Intelligence & Security Studies (NIISS) at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, has announced job openings for project staff under the PSDP project “Establishment of National Institute of Intelligence & Security Studies.”
The positions are contract-based under Project Pay Scale (PPS) and offer opportunities for candidates with qualifications ranging from civil engineering to sanitation work.
Available Positions
The recruitment drive seeks to fill four positions across two categories. For the Project Management Unit (PMU), the university is hiring an Assistant Executive Engineer (PPS-7), an Accountant (PPS-5), and a Computer Operator/WPO (PPS-4). Additionally, one Sanitary Worker (BPS-1) position is available under Admin/Support Staff.
The engineering position requires a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering with two years of experience and valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration. Candidates for the accountant role need a BBA or MBA in Finance with two years of experience. The computer operator position requires matriculation with 30 WPM typing speed and MS Office proficiency.
Key Conditions for Applicants
The appointments are initially for one year, extendable based on performance and project continuity. Candidates already in government service must apply through the proper channel. A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1,000 in the form of a pay order, drawn in favor of the Director NIISS, must accompany applications for posts 1 through 3.
The university has clarified that incomplete or late applications will not be considered, and only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests or interviews. No TA/DA will be provided. The competent authority reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning a reason.
