Government of Balochistan Announces CEO Vacancy at Bibi Asmat Malik Memorial Hospital, Panjgur

The Health Department, Government of Balochistan, has officially announced a major career opportunity for healthcare leadership. Applications are currently being invited for the prestigious position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the Bibi Asmat Malik Memorial Hospital, located in Khudabadan, District Panjgur.

Job Profile & Core Responsibilities

The selected Chief Executive Officer will serve as the administrative and operational head of the hospital. The core responsibilities of this role include:

• Policy Implementation: Leading and ensuring the execution of Government policies, Board decisions, and directives issued by the Health Department.
• Operational Management: Directing the daily administration, functions, and overall operations of the hospital to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Coordination: Overseeing and aligning the work of the hospital’s clinical, technical, and administrative staff.
• Financial Accountability: Acting as the principal accounting officer responsible for the management, audit, and investment of funds, while maintaining proper asset records.
• Strategic Planning: Conducting gap analyses for hospital infrastructure, training need assessments, and drafting strategic health delivery plans for Board of Governors (BoG) approval.
• Leadership: Providing active leadership and guidance to the senior management and general staff.

Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates must meet the strict educational and experience criteria established by the Health Department:

1. Educational Qualification

• Must hold an MBBS degree.
• Must possess an MPH (Master of Public Health) or equivalent qualification.
• Must have a valid registration certificate from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).

2. Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in fields such as hospital management, public policy, project administration, financial management, or planning & development.

3. Age Limit & Demographics

• Upper Age Limit: 62 years.
• Nationality/Domicile: Only candidates possessing a Local/Domicile of Balochistan are eligible to apply.

Terms of Appointment

• Type: Contractual.
• Duration: The initial appointment will be made for a period of 3 years, subject to satisfactory performance.
