Available Positions and Key Requirements

1. International Agriculture Collaboration Advisor (SPPS-I)
- No. of Posts: 01
- Qualifications: Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics, Development Studies, Agricultural Policy, or a related discipline. Additional training in diplomacy or policy negotiation is preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years in agriculture/rural development, including over 8 years in international cooperation or agricultural diplomacy. Proven experience representing the government in multilateral platforms like the WTO, FAO, etc., is required.
2. Agri-Finance & Investment Policy Specialist (SPPS-II)
- No. of Posts: 01
- Qualifications: Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics, Finance, MBA (Finance), CA/ACCA, or a related field. Certification in fintech, microfinance, or insurance is preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in agri-finance, rural credit, or agri-investment development, with at least 8 years specifically in agri-financial policy or fintech schemes.
3. Food Security & Agri Export Promotion Consultant (SPPS-II)
- No. of Posts: 01
- Qualifications: Master’s degree in Agricultural/Agriculture Economics, International Trade, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in the Agri-Export, Agri-Supply Chain, or value-addition sectors. Strong knowledge of international standards like Sanitary & Phytosanitary (SPS) measures and Codex Alimentarius is essential.
4. Consultant (Minor Crops) (SPPS-III)
- No. of Posts: 01
- Qualifications: Master’s or preferably a Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences, Agricultural Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 10 years of extensive experience in agricultural consultancy, specifically focusing on crop production improvement (minor/high-value crops like potatoes, tomatoes, onions, pulses, etc.) and supply chain management.
