Balochistan High Court Announces Vacancy for Personal Assistant (BPS-17)


The High Court of Balochistan has issued a vacancy announcement, inviting applications from eligible candidates (male/female) holding local domicile of Balochistan for the position of Personal Assistant (BPS-17) at the Principal Seat in Quetta.

The recruitment process will be conducted in accordance with the High Court Establishment (Appointment and Condition of Service) Rules, 2020.

Position Details and Eligibility

A total of 10 posts are available for the role of Personal Assistant. Candidates applying for this position must meet the following eligibility criteria:

· Age Limit: 18 to 30 years for fresh candidates. However, individuals already in government service may apply up to 35 years of age, provided they have completed three years of satisfactory service in a government department. Further age relaxation may be granted in peculiar circumstances.
· Educational Qualification & Skills:
· Graduation degree is mandatory.
· Candidates must possess a shorthand speed of 120 words per minute.
· A typing speed of 50 words per minute is required.
· Fluency in both English and Urdu languages is an additional required qualification.

Application Process and Important Instructions

Interested candidates must submit their application forms along with the following documents to the Additional Registrar, Administration Branch, or apply online at jobs.bhc.gov.pk:

  1. Four recent passport-size photographs.
  2. Attested copies of CNIC.
  3. Attested copies of all educational and experience certificates.
  4. Attested copy of Local/Domicile.
  5. Departmental Permission/NOC (for candidates applying through proper channel).

Key terms and conditions to note:

· The last date for submission of applications is June 13, 2026.
· Prescribed forms can be obtained from the Administration Branch of the High Court of Balochistan during office hours or downloaded from the official website: www.bhc.gov.pk.
· Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo a written test followed by a viva voce/interview.
· No TA/DA will be admissible for test or interview.
· Applicants with sound judicial working experience may be given additional consideration.
· The competent authority reserves the right to postpone, re-schedule, or cancel the recruitment process.
· Any form of approach, recommendation, or influence will render the applicant unfit for the post.

The schedule for examinations and interviews will be announced shortly after the scrutiny of applications. Applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
