Border Health Services Pakistan Announces Project-Based Vacancies
Karachi, Pakistan – The Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination, through its Border Health Services division, has announced multiple project-based job vacancies for Pakistani nationals.
Applications are being invited for a Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) funded project titled “Strengthening of Points of Entry and Border Health Services – Pakistan.” The positions are based in the Project Management Unit (PMU) and are contract-based, initially for two years or until the project’s completion, whichever comes first.
Available Positions and Pay
The project is hiring for eight different roles, with pay scales ranging from PPS-01 to PPS-07. Key openings include:
· Civil Engineer (PPS-07): 1 post, age 25-35 years, pay package Rs. 157,500/month. Requires a B.E./B.Sc. in Civil Engineering.
· Electrical Engineer (PPS-07): 1 post, age 25-35 years, pay package Rs. 157,500/month. Requires a B.E./B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
· Assistant Accounts Officer (PPS-06): 1 post, age 18-30 years, pay package Rs. 105,000/month. Requires M.Com, MBA (Finance), B.Com (Hons), ICMA, or CA.
· Data Entry Operator (PPS-05): 2 posts, age 18-30 years, pay package Rs. 70,000/month. Requires a Bachelor’s in Computer Science/IT with 40 WPM typing speed.
· Lower Division Clerk (LDC) (PPS-04): 2 posts, age 18-30 years, pay package Rs. 52,500/month. Requires Intermediate with 30 WPM typing speed.
· Record Keeper (PPS-04): 2 posts, age 18-30 years, pay package Rs. 52,500/month. Same qualifications as LDC.
· Staff Car Driver (PPS-01): 2 posts, age 18-30 years, pay package Rs. 37,000/month. Requires Matric with a valid LTV license.
Note: The advertisement lists a “Mechanical Engineer” post under serial number 3 but shows qualifications in commerce/finance. Applicants are advised to verify this discrepancy directly with the Ministry or the testing agency.
Key Application Instructions
Interested candidates must apply online through the National Job Portal (NJP) at https://njp.gov.pk within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication.
Important conditions include:
· No manual applications will be accepted.
· The written test and screening will be conducted by Candidate Testing Services (CTS). Candidates can visit www.cts.org.pk for roll number slips, merit lists, and results.
· A separate fee will be charged by CTS for each post.
· Government employees must apply through the proper channel.
· Candidates must bring original documents (educational certificates, CNIC, domicile, experience letters) and attested copies to the interview.
· No TA/DA will be provided for tests or interviews.
· Age is calculated from the closing date of applications, with general age relaxation as per federal government rules.
